The Easton Hunger Coalition provides a forum for the Easton area community to address food insufficiency, food insecurity and hunger in the community. The organization accepts memberships and participants. Active work includes a monthly event, "Morning Conversation on FOOD" at the Easton Public Market (free public discussion), an Annual Meeting (Spring) and committees working to improve nutritional food access and nutrition education. Volunteers also participate in the LV Gleaning Network which harvests/transports donated produce/food to local pantries, meal centers and shelters.
To increase the rate of educational, economic and social success of primarily Latino students and inspire tomorrow's leaders through our flagship program "Futuros Empresarios"/Future Entrepreneurs (FE) Program, a 5 week summer entrepreneurial training program for local high school sophomores and juniors.
